Bring enough prescription medication for your entire stay.
If possible, ask your pharmacy to provide bubble packs.
Over the counter medication must be in unopened sealed containers. Bring only enough for your stay. Please DO NOT bring large bottles.
OTC medications are considered “medications” by the Department of Health and therefore must be stored and controlled in SMR medication room like a prescriptions medication. You cannot keep these in your room.
Any medical documentation requested.
Supplements are not allowed.
The only exception for additional vitamins or any supplements is a written recent order from a Doctor or equivalent prescribing specific vitamins and/or supplements.
Order must be within 90 days of admission. Medical Director or designee may discontinue vitamins and/or supplements.
Do not combine medications or take out of original packaging.
Personal Care
7-10 days’ worth of comfortable wash and wear season-appropriate clothing. Laundry service is available 24/7.
Workout clothing and gym/athletic shoes.
Sandals, flip flops or any opened toed shoes must be worn with socks due to health codes.
All toiletries: toothbrush, mouthwash, razor, shampoo, soap, deodorant, make up removal cloths, lotions, etc. Do not bring products that have alcohol in them.
Small iPod, or other portable listening devices. Nothing with internet capabilities or cameras. You can also bring Kindles
Approved nicotine products if you use them—such as nicotine patches, gum, lozenges, or disposable, clearly labeled vape devices (new in the box, clearly labled as Nicotine; allowed only in designated outdoor areas), and tobacco products
Packages
Packages may be sent to patients by a friend or family member. This may be through UPS, Fed Ex, etc.
Sequoia will accept packages from any direct resellers, for example, Amazon, Walmart, or any other retail outlet.
Please Do Not Bring:
Laptops, netbooks, tablets, iPads, or any type of computer.
Game Consoles or any type of video game.
Energy drinks and powdered supplements.
