Our Washington addiction treatment program heavily relies on our carefully crafted medication protocols. Specific to each patient’s individual needs, our nurses and pharmacists work together to create a regime that will reduce and relieve the symptoms of withdrawal in the most comfortable way possible.
Sequoia Detox Centers will not use opioid antagonists (Suboxone, Subutex, Vivitrol/Naltrexone, etc.) as a primary means of withdrawal management. For patients looking to stop taking these medications, we can assist with tapering if the current daily dose is less than 40mg, or we will coordinate tapering with their existing providers, or connect them with a provider who can assist them. We cannot assist with Methadone tapers or withdrawal management.
With clinical staff available sixteen hours each day, patients have the option for scheduled and unscheduled visits with a Substance Use Professional who can work individually with them. Our skilled team works with patients on short-term and long-term goals, helps them understand the root causes of their addiction, and offers support throughout the treatment process.
Clients can expect to meet with clinical staff daily during their stay. Our addiction treatment center in Washington offers multiple different levels of care- detox, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization programs, and inpatient treatment. In all of the levels of care at our Spokane drug rehab, we offer individual therapy.
Spending time with other patients who have gone through similar experiences can be a powerful insight and form of support. Group therapy is often more impactful than individual therapy in helping people acquire new ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Practicing new behaviors both within the group and in everyday interactions outside of group help reinforce growth for participants. Group therapy is utilized across all of our levels of care- outpatient and inpatient rehab in Washington.
Our detox program is only 5-7 days, we focus our group material on patient education and discharge planning. We ensure that each patient leaves our facility confident and prepared for what’s next in their recovery journey. If you are attending our detox program, we do not require you to attend group therapy sessions, we strongly encourage attendance, as it improves treatment outcomes and allows patients to get the most out of their stay with us.
CBT, DBT, IOP, PHP—there are so many acronyms and treatment options out there, but how can you know what will be the best fit for you when you leave detox? The dedicated discharge staff at our outpatient rehab in Spokane will help you better understand your options for continuing treatment, and then help you select a provider who will best align with your goals and values.
You won’t have worry about how to get pre-authorized, how to find availabilities, or if the provider is refutable—we have already done the research for you. Because of our dedication to person-centered care, we want to make sure that you understand and agree with the type of program you will be going into before you leave our addiction treatment center in Washington. We will ensure you won’t have a gap in your treatment by coordinating your admission date, transportation, payment options, while you get to focus on your recovery.
