Because Apple Health is Medicaid, covered services often have little or no out-of-pocket cost. Some treatments do require preapproval, also called prior authorization, before you begin. You don’t need a referral from your primary care provider to see a behavioral health or substance use provider in the Wellpoint network.
Your exact benefits depend on your specific plan and eligibility. Our admissions team will review your coverage and explain what’s included before you start.

Our outpatient programs offer many of the same evidence-based therapies as residential care, with the key difference that you return home each day. Your treatment plan is tailored to your personal goals and values and may include:
Outpatient care may be a good fit if you’ve completed detox or inpatient treatment and are stepping down, your substance use doesn’t require 24-hour medical supervision, or you have a safe, supportive home environment. It’s also a good fit if you need to keep working or caring for family during treatment.
Not sure which level of care is right? Our team will complete an assessment and recommend the best starting point.
